Salary: $58,000 - $67,000 per year

Summit County Mountain Retreats (SCMR) is looking for a bilingual, detail-oriented, and highly-organized professional to join our team as Housekeeping Assistant Manager. We are a well-established and growing vacation rental property management company based in beautiful Summit County, CO. With over 500 properties under management, we are a committed team with strong ties to the area, a focus on client satisfaction, and the desire to build the best team possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Summit County Mountain Retreats Housekeeping Assistant Manager you will work directly with the Senior Housekeeping Manager to oversee our entire in-house housekeeping and laundry operations. This includes, but is not limited to, daily monitoring of payroll, scheduling, key control policies, inventory management, hiring and training employees, providing regular feedback to employees, documenting disciplinary action, and walking the working spaces daily to ensure everything is clean and in orderly condition.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists the Senior Housekeeping Manager in managing the entire daily operation of the housekeeping and laundry departments
  • Adapts quickly and in a calm manner to challenges throughout the day with a solutions-based thought process
  • Trains employees on established SCMR policies and procedures; updates and implements new policies and procedures as needed
  • Completes daily & weekly work scheduling for all housekeeping/laundry employees to ensure adequate coverage
  • Monitors work progress of the housekeeping department daily and adjusts as needed to complete assignments
  • Assists with payroll in Quickbooks Time and addresses any large variances or excessive tardies with the Senior Housekeeping Manager.
  • Maintains and controls housekeeping supply inventory; orders supplies as needed to maintain par levels
  • Fosters a culture of safety for all housekeeping employees and conducts safety training as needed
  • Ensures all work is completed on schedule with the desired level of quality
  • Personally follows up on housekeeping assignments to ensure accuracy according to company standards
  • Assists the Senior Housekeeping Manager with performance reviews, feedback, and inspection notes
  • Helps schedule and track off-season projects, which include deep cleans, carpet cleans, kitchen restocks, etc.
  • Monitors housekeeping storage spaces and laundry facility regularly; delegates tasks based on observations to employees as needed
  • Organizes and delegates housekeeping tasks for new unit additions and units leaving the rental program

COMPENSATION

  • $58,000-$67,000 per year

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of housekeeping experience (Required)
  • 1+ years in a housekeeping supervisory/management position (Required)
  • Able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (Required)
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace/Microsoft Office products (Required)
  • Strong organizational and team management skills (Required)
