We are seeking a Full Stack Web Engineer who will design, develop, deploy, and maintain websites and web applications for multiple business units and geographies. The Engineer will collaborate with marketing, sales, and other business functions to develop web content, applications and sites that meet the needs of the business. They will maintain content management systems (CMS), frameworks and templates with a focus on ensuring adherence to brand standards and superior customer experience. They will collaborate closely with other solutions engineering teams to develop applications, API, enable content and workflows from/to websites and cloud services including ERP, CRM and PLM.

The Engineer will collaborate with IT Infrastructure team to host, administer, monitor, and scale websites and domains. They will migrate content from legacy technology stack to cloud-based services. They will apply maintenance updates to the technology stack that supports the websites. They will evaluate and implement additional tools and services to enable business functions.

What You’ll Do :

  • Design, develop and maintain websites, applications, content frameworks and API integrations with backend services.
  • Administer, and maintain content management systems (CMS), visual editors and other web development technologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create content templates, web pages, web applications, and micro sites. Enable and support dynamic localized Content on web sites/pages.
  • Ensure all web content adheres to brand, usability, security, compliance, and search engine optimization standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to develop and maintain web applications and services in support of product licensing and other business functions.
  • Collaborate Solutions Engineering team to design, develop and implement API services to integrate web sites with ERP, CRM, PLM.
  • Develop and support add-ons and ancillary services to enable efficient e-commerce (shopping cart) services.
  • Proactively monitor websites for potential issues or performance bottlenecks and resolve them. Resolve issues with workflows, data quality, edit rules, browser and omni channel compatibility issues.
  • Apply patches, updates, and enhancements as necessary to maintain currency, system stability and security.
  • Use DevOps techniques to design, build, and support process flows.
  • Consult with infrastructure and security teams to implement compliance, security, and cloud best practices.
  • Keep current with industry trends and best practices in web development, cloud hosting, SAAS services, and add-on services.

Requirements

What You’ll Need :

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, full stack development and administration of websites and applications.
  • 3+ years of experience with application development with React.js, Next.js, Vue.js and Angular.
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML/CSS, XML, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience developing with CMS/headless CMS such as Contentful, Strapi or similar. Experience with development and migration of content from Umbraco is a plus.
  • Experience maintaining and administering a CMS.
  • Experience with deployment and administration of websites on Netlify. Experience with site reliability engineering (New Relic) of websites and analytics (Google) is highly desired.
  • Experience with integration of websites with API from ERP and CRM services such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with development and maintenance of e-commerce functions on websites using Shopify or Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Experience with development and support of in-house custom shopping carts is a plus.
  • Experience with development of web applications such as software license management. Experience with integration of license management services such as Thales is a plus.
  • Experience with support and administration of Visual Editors for composable websites such as Stackbit.
  • Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB), Web servers (Apache) and UI/UX design.
  • Experience working with CI/CD, Test Frameworks, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, bitbucket etc.
  • Ability to work with both IT and business to implement business processes and workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.

What You’ll Need to Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related technical field, or equivalent experience in an enterprise organization.
  • Certification with Contentful or equivalent CMS.
  • Full stack websites and web application development certification.
  • Cloud Website hosting and administration certification.
