Position Summary

While working as a Graphics Intern, you will be responsible for working with pre-made templates, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency for client artwork and layouts. You will also handle various departmental duties and tasks. This role involves ensuring that all jobs are print-ready and meet quality and specification standards while providing support to the Graphic Design Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work on pre-made template jobs such as business cards, brochures and benefit guides.
• Tracking time in EPMS through Data Collection.
• Proofing the Graphic Designers proofs to the customers.
• Able to make Intro Calls out to customers when needed.
• Following up on the proofs sent to the customer via email and by phone.
• Processing & Printing Paperwork for the job box review/proofing.
• Requesting and processing change orders/processing change orders.
• Discussing Job Ticket issues with Project Managers.
• Discussing Client Issues and Job Issues with Relationship Managers
• Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

• Completed coursework in graphic design.
• Solid understanding of computers, data entry, internet searches, the Microsoft Office suite, the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and email applications.
• Proficient Adobe InDesign knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to learn, grow and be mentored by senior designers
• Assist with various other tasks as needed in the department
