We are seeking a qualified Manufacturing Engineer . The ideal candidate for this position has expertise in the technical aspects of developing, establishing, testing, and improving manufacturing systems and methods including, but not limited to automation and improvement of processing equipment, material handling equipment, tooling, fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment. The successful candidate must have excellent oral/written communication skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently within a fast-paced working environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Assess capacity and required resources to meet customer demand. 
• Oversees the technical aspects of developing, establishing, testing, and improving manufacturing systems and methods including, but not limited to automation and improvement of processing equipment, material handling equipment, tooling, fixtures, jigs, and testing equipment. 
• Analyze labor cost and plan workflow, staffing, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency and identify and optimize bottlenecks. 
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are in place and remain relevant to drive safety, quality and efficiency. 
• Identify and analyze process and design improvements to reduce cost and lead time.
• Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
• 3D CAD design through commissioning of tooling & fixtures. 
• Ensures manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulations. 
• Ensure that metrics for efficiency and productivity are accurate and drive improvement. 
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are in place and remain relevant to drive safety, quality and efficiency. 
• Recommends new policies or procedures as necessary to ensure improved products or services.
• Document current and ideal practices and use post-completion audits to assure compliance of improvements.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 10 years of experience working in manufacturing environment
• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, related field required
