Job Description
Local homeowner and businesswoman seeks able-bodied, early-rising individual willing to assist with household and outdoor chores and errands, to include caring for multiple small-breed show dogs, one large breed dog, and one cat. Prospective applicants must be willing to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and on weekends.
Job includes standing, walking, frequent bending/kneeling/squatting, ability to walk on uneven surfaces without special accommodations, exposure to allergens such as animal hair, animal dander, grasses and pollens, pet waste, cleaning products, animal care products including animal shampoos and conditioners, raw and processed meat products.
This position requires the ability to read, write, do basic math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, drive a motor vehicle without special endorsements or restrictions, and submit to a background check and/or drug test at the employer’s discretion.
This position is part-time with potential for more hours during certain times as required by employer. Benefits include puppy kisses, semi-flexible hours, on-the-job training in animal care, organization, and animal husbandry.
