Location: Chicago IL. Onsite Role

Job Description:
Senior Software Enginer, preferably with Retail / Quick Serve Restaurant experience
You want to become the technical reference for the team you're working with and for the company, taking ownership and defending your ideas to provide the best global solution.
You keep yourself updated on market trends and new technologies
At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a networking and deployment engineer
Proficient on solutions development best practices
Experience defining and implementing unit tests and code review automation tools
Solid experience developing high scalable solutions
Experience working on agile teams
Client-facing experience
Some knowledge on cloud solutions is desirable
Experience on mentoring less experienced developers, reviewing code and supporting the team on difficult challenges.
Ability to mentor and guide Junior and Mid-Level developers
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, influencing other team members and external stakeholders
Ability to think strategically and long-term, identifying opportunities and challenges for the organization (Define Strategies)
Ability to evaluate information and data objectively, identifying opportunities and threats to projects and the organization
Ability to adapt to new projects, technologies, and challenges
Ability to work effectively with cross-squad (multiple) teams
