Job Description:

Endeavor Health is seeking Sterile Processing Technicians to join our team at Skokie Hospital. We currently have openings for both uncertified and certified technicians. Additionally, experienced and certified individuals are invited to apply for Lead Sterile Processing Technician positions.

Responsibilities:

• Basic tray assembly and decontamination.
• Acting as a resource to newer sterile processing technicians.
• Providing decontaminated, clean, and complete sterile equipment and supplies to user areas according to AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) standards.

Qualifications for Uncertified/Certified Positions:

• Graduation from a sterile processing technician program and at least 2 years of experience required for uncertified positions.
• CRCST certification from IAHCSMM or CSPDT certification from CBSPD and at least 2 years of experience working as a sterile processing technician required for certified positions.

Qualifications for Lead Sterile Processing Technician Positions:

• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• 3 years of sterile processing technician experience required.
• Experience with low-temp sterilization (Sterrad, VPRO, or low-temp sterilization).
• Familiarity with the 3 sink process.
• Experience as a Senior Sterile Processing Technician or Sterile Processing Technician II.

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift (open for Lead Sterile Processing Technicians)
• Evening Shift (Open to uncertified/certified Sterile Processing Technicians or Lead SPT)
• Night Shift (open for Lead Sterile Processing Technicians)

Sign-On Bonuses offered to Certified SPTs:

• Certified SPT: $2,000
• Lead SPT: $5,000
