Join our innovative team as a Permanent Telecom Construction Manager! We are looking for a seasoned professional who can manage and oversee multiple telecom construction projects simultaneously. This role requires an individual who is adept at delivering projects on time, managing daily construction activities, and providing accurate status reporting. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our telecommunications construction projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

As a Telecom Construction Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Oversee all aspects of telecommunications construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Manage and supervise the daily activities of construction technicians, ensuring work is carried out according to project plans and specifications.
3. Prepare and present detailed status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, potential risks, and proposed solutions.
4. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
5. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all work is carried out within the allocated funds.
6. Coordinate with other departments and external contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
7. Prepare change order estimates and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors.
8. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring all activities are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
9. Resolve any on-site issues or disputes that may arise, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
10. Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards, applying this knowledge to improve our construction processes and techniques.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Telecom Construction Manager, candidates should possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in telecommunications construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements related to telecommunications construction.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide construction technicians to achieve project objectives.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage contracts and resolve disputes effectively.
6. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
8. Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
9. A professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management would be an added advantage.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different construction sites as required.
